Gameplay
Turns and Rounds
Player Turns: On your turn, choose an action by placing a decision card face down. Once all players have been selected, you can reveal your decisions simultaneously.
Actions:
QE/QT: Adjust the printing rate of FUSD to influence its supply.
Arbitrage: Use the private pool tiles to swap assets and potentially earn profits.
Withdraw/Deposit: Manage your collateral by adding or withdrawing some.
Clearinghouse Phase: After all players have taken turns, the clearinghouse calculates gains, distributes rewards, and applies any fees or taxes.
Round Conclusion: After a set number of turns, the round ends. The clearinghouse summarizes the outcomes and prepares for the next round.
The Fedz DAO Phase
At the end of each round, players may use their DAO tokens to vote on key decisions affecting the next round's gameplay. These include setting reserve ratios, acceptable collateral types, and interest rates.
Winning the Game
The game concludes after a predetermined number of rounds or when a specific economic milestone is reached. The player with the highest total asset value (including FUSD, collateral, and any additional tokens) is declared the winner, having successfully navigated the challenges of "The Fedz" economy.
Additional Rules
Withdrawal Penalties: Increasing penalties apply as more players choose to withdraw during a round, encouraging stability.
Crisis Management: During crisis events, players must strategize to add liquidity and stabilize the economy, with rewards for those who contribute positively to recovery efforts.
Setting In-Round Game Parameters: The Fedz DAO authorizes/delegates the clearinghouse to put a few parameters based on the player's guesses, as described below.
Wisdom of the Crowd in Setting Game Parameters
How It Works
Participation and Guess Submission
Eligibility: All NFT holders can participate in this feature, making educated guesses about the upcoming round's key parameters.
Submission Process: At the beginning of each round, NFT holders will submit their guesses for the specified parameters through a dedicated interface within "The Fedz" platform.
Calculation of Weighted Average
Collateral Size and Turn Order: The clearinghouse will calculate the weighted average of all submitted guesses, considering the size of the collateral each player has contributed and their turn order within the round.
Determining the Parameters: The weighted average will then be used to set the round's parameters, aligning the game's economic mechanisms with the collective insight of its participants.
Rewards Based on Accuracy
Gap Measurement: After the parameters are set and the round concludes, the clearinghouse will measure each player's gap from the outcome — the difference between their guess and the implemented weighted average.
Reward Distribution: Players will be rewarded based on how close their guesses were to the outcome. The smaller the gap, the larger the reward, incentivizing accurate and thoughtful participation.
Strategic Implications
This feature introduces a dynamic layer of strategy to "The Fedz," encouraging players to:
Engage Deeply: Dive into the game's economic indicators and trends to make informed guesses.
Collaborate: Discuss strategies and insights within the community, fostering a collaborative environment.
Influence the Game: Directly impact the game's economic parameters through collective decision-making, reflecting the true wisdom of the crowd.
